So, ever since S.Meiers redesigned my blog for me, I’ve had a link up under the banner that reads “Wagandstuff’s College Fund”. Now, I know that absolutely none of you have wondered what this was, but I’m going to tell you anyway.

I now accept donations.

This was a weird decision for me. It made me feel like a beggar— why do I have a right to let people know that I will accept money from them? Then I realized that tons of bloggers and sites do this. Molly Young does it. The Woman Formerly Known as Slut Machine does it. Craig’s List does it. It’s not beggarish. It’s practical. Think of it as donating to PBS, except it’s a different kind of educational and you don’t get some tote bag that will lay around your house for the next 15 years until you try and sell it at some yard sale to no avail. Or Divas Live on DVD.

Donations are simply something that you’re giving to me, Molly McAleer the human, not Molls the web personality or whatever. This blog is not affiliated with the company that produces my show or any other entity other than myself. You’re just tossing whatever you can in my direction in appreciation for the things that you read on molls.tumblr.com. The money will go toward things like making sure I have a place to live, dog food, people food and electricity.
